FAQ

  • What instruments do you teach?

We teach piano, guitar, drums, bass, ukulele, and voice.

  • Are lessons one-on-one?

Yes, except the worship band instructed as a group.

  • When is the monthly tuition due?

    First week of the month.

  • Can I reschedule a missed lesson?

Due to our limited availability, missed lessons can not be rescheduled. Students are responsible for being in class at their scheduled time. When you ask, we offer a video lesson for students who will not be there.

  • What is a good age to start learning music?

As early as three years old, our Agape Little Learners class is designed to facilitate age-appropriate learning that engages young students with hand-eye coordination, rhythm, hand drumming, singing, praise dancing, instrument appreciation, and ear training, all while learning the biblical principles of worship. Little learners will become significant learners who can apply what they learned to a single-instrument discipline.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    We do not offer refunds.

  • Can I drop and start again within the same season?

We take open enrollment all year long. However, we ask students to commit to an entire season to ensure their best learning outcome. If a situation prevents you from being a student, your scheduled time will be given to a new student when the new month arrives. With limited availability, you may not be able to re-enroll. Students who drop out risk not having a new time slot and may not be eligible to participate in the end-of-the-season worship concert recital.

  • What holidays are observed within the seasons of my monthly tuition?

Most public and private schools below commonly take off the holidays we observe.

    Labor day

    Martin Luther King Jr. Day

    Thanksgiving Break November 22-24.

    President’s Day

    Spring Break April 8-12

    Memorial Day

  • We have a vacation planned during the season, will I have to pay for the full tuition of that month?

Yes. Paying your monthly tuition secures the scheduled time you have committed to. Upon request, a video lesson can be provided for any missed lesson.
